Take the two Mental Fitness assessments.

Your name, work email, organization and role are all we need to register you with Compass — the flyer or link you arrived from is recorded for us automatically. Once you press the button, both assessment links open right here — the Saboteur Assessment and the PQ® Score, about 10–14 minutes in total. You will not be asked for your details again. Your assessment answers stay with you; Compass never sees them unless you choose to enter them.

Building Mental Fitness Report

Enter your score and top three saboteurs.

When the saboteurs run the day, the bill arrives later — opportunities not taken, conversations avoided, regrets that compound quietly. Compass builds the branded report: your range read, what each pattern is costing in decisions and relationships, and the one move to train first.

Time = Life. Use it well.

Your submission is recorded with Compass so Steve Kopecky can read it with you, and you download your own copy here — under the Compass standard, nothing is emailed on your behalf.

Step 3 · Enter your results

Your PQ score and your ranked Saboteurs

You already have your own report from Positive Intelligence. This step creates the additional Compass read — an interpretation of the results you enter, which Compass does not administer or own. Nothing is recorded until you give consent.

Confirming who this read is for…

The daily drill the report prescribes

Ninety seconds in, ten seconds out, repeated daily.

A guided tactile, sound and breathing sequence you can run anywhere. That is how the score moves — over weeks, not days.

Daily practice

The assessment names the pattern. Two to three minutes a day, three to four times a day, changes it.

Mental fitness moves the same way physical fitness does — short reps, done daily. Run the guided drill, then keep the day honest with the checklist.

Why this 90 seconds matters

The cost of skipping it

Every leader already has saboteurs — the Judge, the Controller, the Hyper-Achiever. They cost you one thing that compounds: the quality of the decision in front of you right now. A single reactive email, a rushed hire, a deferred hard conversation — each is a saboteur tax on the next curve.

How it fits the day

Three reps before your first meeting calibrate the day. Name the saboteur once when it shows up, pause ten seconds before one hard response, and close the day with one honest read on what drove you. Ninety seconds in, ten seconds out, repeat. It is the smallest rep that changes how you architect the system around you.

Compass FOUNDATION

Where mental fitness sits in the operating system.

Mental fitness is not a wellbeing program. It is measured interference in executive judgment. Compass Mental Fitness is a capability inside FOUNDATION — one layer of the architecture Compass installs, held to the same evidence standard as every other layer.

  • Where it sits

FOUNDATION · Face Reality · self-leadership. FOUNDATION is the first element of the Compass core architecture, and Face Reality begins with the leader's own judgment. Mental fitness is one capability inside that discipline — never a program running alongside the operating system.

  • What it changes

A reading is evidence, not an intervention. Every engagement ships a system change with the practice — decision rights, standards, cadence or role clarity — so the insight lands in how the enterprise operates.

  • Where Positive Intelligence® appears

In exactly one layer: the two instruments and the practice app are licensed from Positive Intelligence, LLC and credited as theirs. The diagnostic reading, the enterprise interpretation and the system change are Compass.

Why it comes first

Mental fitness underwrites the whole architecture. Every discipline — SIMPLIFY, LEAD, GROW, ARC™ — is executed by leaders under pressure, so the quality of judgment at FOUNDATION sets the ceiling on everything built above it.

Catch the saboteur — the Judge first — then move forward with curiosity and empathy rather than the reaction that arrived first.

  1. 01

    Empathize

Hold the standard and the person at the same time. No lowered bar, no blame read.

  2. 02

    Explore

Get the facts of the condition before the opinion of it — evidence, not narrative.

  3. 03

    Innovate

Generate real alternatives instead of defending the first design that comes to mind.

  4. 04

    Navigate

Choose against declared priorities and True North, not against the loudest pressure.

  5. 05

    Activate

Commit to one specific, dated action with an owner — recorded where the work is run.

Steve KopeckyCompass Performance, Inc.

Compass is an enterprise operating architecture firm. We exist because most organizations are not broken — they have outgrown the design that made them successful. The work is architect-led, integrated, evidence-based, and built to transfer. Compass leaves business architects, not dependency.

About Compass

One firm, one engagement, one operating system — architected with you and left in your hands.

Step 05 · Mental Fitness Discovery

A reading is evidence. Twenty minutes turns it into a decision.

Bring your Building Mental Fitness Report. Steve Kopecky reads the pattern with you and you decide together what, if anything, is worth doing about it. No obligation.

Where the conversation points that way, The Mental Fitness Lab is the deeper facilitated cohort program that can follow. It is never a requirement for the assessments or the report. How the Lab runs
