Compass runs no advertising networks and builds no cross-site profiles. Strictly necessary storage keeps the platform working; measurement stays off until you allow it.
The two categories
- Strictly necessary · always on
- Sign-in sessions, security and rate-limit protection, saved tool work (scorecards, assessments), and your privacy choice itself. Without these the site cannot function.
- Measurement · optional
- First-party measurement of which pages, articles, and calls to action are used, kept under an anonymous browser identifier. No advertising networks, no cross-site profiles.

Changing your mind
Refusing measurement costs you nothing — every article, instrument, and assessment works the same. Withdraw or grant consent at any time:
When you refuse, we also clear the measurement keys already on your device. Your browser settings can block storage entirely; the sign-in and instrument features will then not retain work.
