Compass Entrepreneurial Growth Lab™

Build the operating system your business needs next.

Start with the vital few. Align the organization. Execute and sustain the work.

Entrepreneur → Enterprise leader → Enterprise builder

The Compass Entrepreneurial Growth Lab™ applies one architecture

The same architecture Compass installs in an enterprise, worked at the scale of an owner-led business.

How the work moves

  1. READY
  2. FOCUS
  3. MOBILIZE
  4. PERFORM
  5. SUSTAIN

One execution system beneath the model — not five methods to learn.

Who it is for — and what it is accountable for

  • Owners with real traction

The business works, customers return, and the founder's judgment is still the operating system.

  • Founders becoming enterprise leaders

Expertise built the company; the next stage asks for standards, decisions and capability other people can use.

  • Leaders carrying too much personally

Pricing, escalations and the largest relationships still route through one desk.

  • Businesses at the edge of their design

Growth has added products, customers, people and complexity faster than the operating design was rebuilt.

Business outcomes

  • The vital few markets, customers and offerings named, with the rest deliberately stopped, deferred or de-invested.
  • Customer and offering economics visible — contribution and cost to serve, not revenue alone.
  • The primary constraint on profitable growth identified and being worked.
  • Decisions moved to where the information lives, behind written standards and stated authority.
  • A working Entrepreneurial Operating Playbook and a live 90-day plan with owners, measures and review dates.
  • A repeatable ARC™ cadence, so the plan keeps learning instead of hardening into a document.

Every week produces four things you can use

  • Business artifact

A usable working document produced from the participant's own data.

  • Business decision

An explicit choice, recorded in the decision log with an owner and a date.

  • ARC commitment

What will be done, by when, and how it will be known.

  • Execution record

The priority, initiative, milestone, measure, risk or adoption evidence the work is attached to.

By the twelfth session those objects are a working operating playbook and a live 90-day plan — with owners, measures, milestones and a review cadence already in place.

Twelve working sessions

Two hours each, virtual and interactive, worked on your own business. Core and advanced applications run inside the same session.

The three-month, twelve-session structure is the proposed design. Session count, sequence and length remain provisional until pilot workload and pace are validated. Cohort dates, pricing, enrollment and certification are not open.

The sessions travel one execution sequence

  1. READYSee reality and set direction
  2. FOCUSSize the intervention and read readiness
  3. MOBILIZECommit the organization
  4. PERFORMExecute and enable adoption
  5. SUSTAINHold the gain and renew
  1. 1Start Front-to-Back: Face RealityWhat is actually true about this business right now?
  2. 2From Entrepreneur to Enterprise LeaderWhat must change in how I lead for the business to grow past me?
  3. 3Apply 80/20: Find the Vital FewWhich few customers, products and activities create the value?
  4. 4Establish Strategic IntentWhat are we building, and what will we decline?
  5. 5Build a Distinctive Market PositionWhy would the right customer choose us over the alternative?
  6. 6Create the Revenue EngineHow does revenue arrive repeatably rather than by heroics?
  7. 7Know the EconomicsWhere is money made, consumed and at risk?
  8. 8Break the Primary ConstraintWhat one constraint limits everything else?
  9. 9Build Beyond the FounderWhat must exist so results do not depend on me?
  10. 10Design and Mobilize the ExecutionWho owns what, by when, and how will adoption happen?
  11. 11Perform and AdaptIs the plan working, and what must change now?
  12. 12Sustain the Next CurveWhat cadence keeps this operating system alive?

The architecture does not depend on any one tool

Use the integrated CompassOS experience or connect the execution tools your organization already uses — while preserving one Compass architecture, governance standard and board-level view.

Whatever holds the work underneath, the same nine answers stay visible at board level: objective and priority, economic rationale or measure, initiative and accountable owner, current status and milestone, material risk or issue, key decision, adoption evidence, ARC commitment, next action. Where a system cannot supply them, we say so plainly rather than call it connected.

  1. Your Expertise Built the Business. What Will Help It Scale?12 minute read

The knowledge that built the business is not automatically the operating system that will scale it. What the owner with traction actually needs next.
