In this module you will
- Record one thing stopped entirely today.
- Record one delegation that names a person and a date.
The idea
Stopping and delegating are letters on the action itself. Choose E and the action is struck through: “stopped entirely today: no one will notice. That is the test.” Choose D and the planner asks to whom and by when: “A delegation without both is a wish.” The printed sheet’s Eliminate and Delegate lines are filled from those letters, so nothing is written twice.
Compass interpretation: in a growing company, delegation means handing over the decision, within agreed rules, not just the task. Write what the person now decides.
Step by step
Why Elimination frees the most time at the lowest cost.
Letter one action E.
Why Ownership needs a person and a date.
Letter one action D and fill in whom and by when.
Worked example: the CEO
E: “The weekly status deck — replaced by the review scorecard.” D: “Integration-system escalation → COO, decides within the agreed rights, by Friday 30 October.”
Practice it in the Daily Management form
This module is step 4 of the form: Schedule today’s actions. What you enter there is saved on this device, so you can come back to it.
