Compass Personal Architecture
Daily practice sheets
Behavior changes when it is designed, written down and reviewed — not when it is intended. Fill either sheet here, print it to a single Compass page with a ruled notes page behind it, and work the day from paper.
Nothing you type is transmitted or stored by Compass. If you save a sheet, it is kept on this device alone — the page still opens blank and your work returns when you ask for it. Only an anonymous count of sheet use is recorded, so we can report how much the tools are used.
8.5 × 11 in (or A4) — follows your paper size setting
Only the date and one priority are ever required. The rest is yours to use or leave blank.
210 × 297 mm — standard outside North America. Applies to every PDF you download here and to printing from your browser.
A starting draft you can overwrite. It fills the priorities, the schedule and the notes on both sheets.
Daily Habit Design
One habit, designed properly. Identity first, then the four laws — cue, anchor, friction, evidence.
Present tense, first person, about behavior I control.
One behavior. Name it as an action, not an outcome.
Time, place, object. Behavior follows environment.
Anchor the new behavior to one I already do without deciding.
Small enough that starting is never a decision.
Remove a step from the behavior I want; add one to the alternative.
Immediate, visible proof the vote was cast.
Today's designed habits
Three, protected for ninety days. Not fifteen tracked in an app.
Design test
A habit is designed when all four are answered: the cue and where it lives, the habit it is anchored to, the friction removed or added, and the immediate evidence. Missing one makes it an intention, not a design.

Step 2 of 2 — planning stops here
Would you like to print today's PDF and save it?
The plan above is complete. This opens today's sheet as the finished PDF, ready to print, in the format you already chose: English · Full page · A4 — remembered from last time. Your plan is saved on this device as you type, so it returns when you come back.

Nothing below this line is required. Alarms, calendar import, sharing and the guides are optional extras.
Keep this sheet on this device
Saved on this device only — never sent to Compass. The page always opens blank; bring your work back with one click.
Send this sheet to someone else
The sheet travels inside the link — Compass keeps no copy. Anyone with the link can read the day and load it into their own sheet.
Open a sheet someone sent you
Paste the code from their message to load their day here. Nothing is sent to Compass.
Before you set the day
The morning launch
Move, settle, picture, then plan. In that order, every morning.
0 of 4
Work all five steps, then mark the day on your 21-day record.
New to this sheet? Work the 80/20 Daily Time Management course — it produces everything this page asks you for.
Each morning
Gym, PQ® and today's Daily Focus
Written from the values you selected and the A-level actions on today's sheet: a session for the body, reps for the mind, then the day put in order.
The values that govern today
Select the standards the day will be judged against.
Gym · PQ® reps
Write at least one A-level action on the 80/20 sheet, then the brief can be drafted.

Affirmations and I × V = R already have their instruments
Lou Tice's work — Imagination × Vividness = Reality, and the written affirmation as the way you hold the picture — is built into the Time = Life thread rather than duplicated here. Use the Diamond Map to set the picture and the aspiration statements to write it.
I × V = R is attributed to Lou Tice, founder of The Pacific Institute. Referenced and applied by Compass; not endorsed by the author or the institute.
