Positive Intelligence®
Mental fitness is leadership capacity.
Judgment under pressure is not a personality trait — it is a trained capability. Compass partners with leaders and teams through the Positive Intelligence® cohort: eight weeks, ninety minutes a week, virtual.
Why mental fitness
Every leader has internal patterns that take over under pressure — the Judge and its accomplices. They arrive faster than thought, and they shape decisions before the decision is consciously made.
Positive Intelligence® measures how quickly a leader recovers from those patterns and returns to clear judgment. That recovery is trainable, and it compounds: calmer rooms, cleaner decisions, and less of the reactivity that quietly costs an enterprise its best thinking.

Saboteur Assessment
Identifies the internal patterns that hijack judgment under pressure. Keep your top three.

Daily practice
The assessment names the pattern. Two to three minutes a day, three to four times a day, changes it.
Mental fitness moves the same way physical fitness does — short reps, done daily. Run the guided drill, then keep the day honest with the checklist.
Why this 90 seconds matters
The cost of skipping it
Every leader already has saboteurs — the Judge, the Controller, the Hyper-Achiever. They cost you one thing that compounds: the quality of the decision in front of you right now. A single reactive email, a rushed hire, a deferred hard conversation — each is a saboteur tax on the next curve.
How it fits the day
Three reps before your first meeting calibrate the day. Name the saboteur once when it shows up, pause ten seconds before one hard response, and close the day with one honest read on what drove you. Ninety seconds in, ten seconds out, repeat. It is the smallest rep that changes how you architect the system around you.

Guided drill · three reps
Rep 01 · Touch
Rub two fingertips together slowly. Give it your full attention — feel the ridges, the warmth, the friction.
Rep 02 · Breath
Follow one breath the whole way in and the whole way out. When attention drifts, bring it back without judgment.
Rep 03 · Sound
Pick the farthest sound you can hear and hold it. Let the nearer sounds fall into the background.

The cohort
The Positive Intelligence Forum
A standalone cohort on its own calendar — open to leaders and teams who are not forum members. Investment is $1,500, includes the Positive Intelligence app for one year, and runs a minimum of 3 months when the group elects to continue.
The eight-week foundation cohort
One 90-minute virtual session each week
The cohort begins as an eight-week foundation. Members meet virtually once per week for ninety minutes, work through a one-hour video released each Friday, and complete roughly ten minutes of daily practice in the Positive Intelligence app.
The continued cohort
Usually every other week, by group decision
After the eight weeks, the cohort can choose to remain together. Meeting frequency typically reduces to about an hour every other week. The group sets its own agenda — change management, stress management, coaching, leadership, and whatever the members need — and continues as long as it earns its place.
A week in the cohort
Weekly session
One 90-minute virtual cohort meeting.
Fridays
A new one-hour video is released for the week.
